Study On The Intervention Effect Of The Health Communication Of Rabies In Wuxuan County

Today, social health communication has been changed from the past simple transfer of health knowledge and skills of a simple model, and has been the transition to spread health knowledge, health psychology, health and culture as one of the integrated model. Rabies and the death of rabies has become one of the most serious public health problem in our country, so the rabies health communication campaign is very important. Known KABP level is an important factor affecting the incidence of rabies in rural areas, so improving the level of KABP can effectively prevent and control the outbreak of rabies in rural areas.By 2013 the villagers of Wuxuan County of sampling investigation, we have understood KABP level of the villagers, in 2014 by sending out brochures and text messages to villagers, and then conducting a return visit survey to understand villagers’KABP level. By using independent sample t test, analysis of variance to analyze the different levels of KABP between 2013 and 2014, we found that sending out brochures+ text messages double intervention can increase KABP level of villagers obviously, and the growth is statistically significant. By extension, brochures+ text messages and other propaganda way can improve the villagers knowledge about rabies health, and those way can effective control and prevent rabies outbreak. However, due to the subjective and objective reasons, the arrival rate of brochures and text messages is low, so affects the spread effect.At the same time we found that the rural public age, education, marital status, occupation status and other demographic variables have different acceptance from receiving brochures and text messages, and the impact of the KABP level of rabies is also different. Therefore, we could have a choice for the community to take unreasonable way of publicity about health communication.
