| As domestic development and progress of social work, the field and scope expands unceasingly, work content is gradually abundant, among them, the medical social work has an obvious development and progress, on the basis of the existing medical social work, seek better development, hospitals have to pay more and more attention to social work related content. At the same time, the hospital related work also asked for the related content of social work, therefore, the medical social work has more and more attention in recent years. On the one hand, the practice of medical social work develop constantly, on the other hand, the research of medical social work has many development.Through the internship at a hospital in Jiangsu province, the author know the related content of the hospital social work, at the same time, due to the long-term contact with the rehabilitation of patients and families during the internship, had certain thinking on the rehabilitation of patients social work intervention. The most existing research on rehabilitation of patients were from the Advantage Perspective, emphasize to play the patient’s own potential, although the Advantage Perspective can give full play to the individual subjective initiative, help the patient to solve the problems of its own. However, in real life, not just the patients themselves, the patient’s social environment, including family, community, social and cultural system, and many various aspects have important influence on the patient rehabilitation, and considering the importance of the rehabilitation of the social environment, this article considering the social work intervention for families of patients embarks from the ecosystem theory, starting from the aspects of patient ecosystem considering intervention of social work, not just limited to the patient’s own.This article first discuss the research background, objectives, significance and so on, and then reviews the literature review of medical social work and related research situation, then introduce the research design, including research method, place, object, data collection, research ethics, etc., on the basis of the theory of ecological system, through the interview method to collect data, but also adopt participatory observation method to increase understanding of the families of patients, on the basis, analyzing the current situations, questions and needs of the rehabilitation department, and from ecological system theory analysis of rehabilitation intervention of social work, with a case as an example, display the rehabilitation intervention of social work.
