Objective: Ureter is a flexible and long tubular organ, which is Located in the spine on both sides of the peritoneal cavity, and the upper end is originated from the ureteropelvic junction. In front of psoas muscle, it presents slightly S-shaped to pelvic, walking through the bladder lateral wall and opening in the bladder cavity.Benign ureteral stricture is a common disease ind ureteral obstruction, and it is also a kind of disease which is difficult to deal with in clinic, According to the anatomical position, the ureter is generally divided into three parts, that is, the upper, middle and lower part, also known as the waist, the department of the iliac and pelvic. This is the three narrow stone to Canton area, which is relatively common site of ureteral stricture. Ureteral stenosis can cause poor drainage of urine, resulting in severe renal pelvis, renal function, adverse effects on patients. This study, through comparing between ureteral balloon dilatation and open surgery, is used to analyze these surgical regimens in the treatment of benign ureteral stricture. So we can find a new choice in the treatment of benign ureteral. Methods: From October 2015 to May 2010,58 patients with benign ureteral stricture were selected. According to different operation modes, two groups were divided into 26 cases, which were treated with balloon dilatation, as the observation group, 32 cases were treated with open operation, as the control group. Through statistical analysis, the clinical effect of two kinds of surgical treatment for benign ureteral stricture were analyzed and compared. Further analysis of the factors influencing the prognosis of patients with ureteral balloon dilation in the treatment of benign ureteral stricture is conducted.Result:1. The total effective rate in the observation group was 82.6%, and the control group was 88.9%, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05). In the two groups of operation time, bleeding volume, indwelling catheter time, postoperative hospitalization time, postoperative recovery time difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2. Comparative analysis of influence factors of prognosis in treatment group were observed in, these factors, patients with gender, age, ureteral stenosis position, indwelling D-J number, by statistical analysis, was not statistically significant(P > 0.05), and ureteral stricture length, stenosis and renal pelvis separation difference has statistical significance(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1. It is clear that the treatment of balloon dilatation in the treatment of benign ureteral stricture has the advantages of less trauma, simple operation, quick recovery, and so on. It is worth popularizing and applying in the condition of mastering indication.2. The length, time and the degree of renal pelvis separation caused by the narrow segment of the ureter were the factors influencing the prognosis of the patients with benign ureteral stricture after balloon dilation.
