Objective:1. To investigate the status of peer support, work stress, psychological adjustment and subjective well-being in nurses.2. To explore the relationships among peer support,work stress,psychological adjustment and subjective well-being in nurses,which may provide theory reference for hospital managers.Methods:249 nurses from 3 certain grade 3A hospital in Changchun were selected as research objiects. A general information questionnaire, Support Scale of Colleague,Psychological Adaptability Self-test Questionnaire and General Subjective Well-Being Scale were be used to survey. Data analysis included descriptive statistics,M,T,I,ANOVA and Pearson correlate analysis.Results:1. 244 questionnaires out of 249 were selected.The mean score of the Support Scale of Colleague, Psychological Adaptability Self-test Questionnaire and General Subjective Well-Being Scale were 45.00±15.00, 86.18±20.22, 72.34±15.47,respectively. There were 102 nurses who had the score of the Psychological Adaptability Self-test Questionnaire were under 5.2. There were differences in nurses’ peer support with different marital status,fertility status,technical titles or departments(P<0.05).There were differences in nurses’ work stress with different departments(P<0.05).There were differences in nurses’ subjective well-being with different gender,fertility status,forms of employment or working times(P<0.01 or P<0.05).3. The total level of peer support was positively correlated with the total level of nurses’ work stress(P<0.05 or P<0.01) and had significant negative correlation with psychological adjustment and subjective well-being(P<0.05 or P<0.01).The total level of work stress was negatively correlated with the total level of nurses’ psychological adjustment and subjective well-being(P<0.01).The total level of psychological adjustment was positively correlated with the total level of nurses’ subjective well-being(P<0.01).Conclusion:1. In nurses,peer support was in moderate level,work stress was in moderate or high level, psychological adjustment was in low level and subjective well-being was in moderate or high level.2. Marital status,fertility status, technical titles or departments could influence peer support in nurses.Departments could influence work stress in nurses.Gender,fertility status,forms of employment or working times could influence subjective well-being in nurses.3. Peer support can defuse the work stress and promote the psychological adjustment,and influence nurses’ s subjective well-being.Reducing the work stress is helpful to improve the psychological adjustment and subjective well-being in nurses. |
