The Clinical Observation Of The Scalp Ligands Acupunture Treatment With Siguan Points On Treating Menopausal Depression (Stagnation Of Liver Qi)

Objective:Observed scalp ligands with Siguan points for menopausal depression (stagnation of liver qi) and traditional body acupuncture treatment for menopausal depression (stagnation of liver qi) therapeutic effect.Methods:Select the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine, First Affiliated Hospital outpatient acupuncture in patients with menopausal depression (stagnation of liver qi) as object. According to the random number table, this study will select 60 menopausal depression patients which were grouped into treatment group of 30 patients (age 40-55, disease duration is 3 months to 1 year) and a control group of 30 cases. Treatment group is using acupuncture treatment for the metopic line lateral line 1 of forehead lateral line 2 of forehead with Siguan points, moreover, control group is going to use traditional body acupuncture treatment, compare the prior and post treatment of the patients symptom and observe the curative effect. After that, by using the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD)(17), Kupperman menopausal symptom score, TCM Syndrome scale score reduction rate calculated (stagnation of liver qi) as the observed indicators, all the data obtained using SPSS 15.0 software for statistical analysis to determine the clinical efficacy.Results:Before treatment, by using the HAMD Rating Scale, KMI Score and TCM Syndrome Scale Score, no table statistics difference between two groups patients. After treatment, compare with the result of the HAMD Rating Scale, KMI Score and TCM Syndrome Scale Score, indicating comparison of each group was statistical significance (P<0.05). Compare with the reduction efficiency of two groups patients, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). it’s show that the curative effect of treatment group is better than control group. After treatment, the comparison study of the intra-group of each group, by using HAMD Rating Scale, KMI Score and TCM Syndrome Scale Score, the result was dramatic decline, compare with the prior treatment, the difference was statistical significance (P<0.01), it’s show that both treatment group and control group has the effect.Conclusion:1. Scalp ligands with Siguan points acupuncture for menopausal depression (stagnation of liver qi) can improve their depressive symptoms have significant effects.2. Scalp ligands with Siguan points treatment for menopausal depression(stagnation of liver qi) is an effective clinical methods.
