Ma Su Granule In The Treatment Of Asthma In Acute Attack Stage Clinical Obserbation And Affect On Eosinophil

Objective:To observe the changes and influences of clinical symptoms, signs, lung function (FEV1/FVC, FEV1) and peripheral blood eosinophil (EOS) count between pre-therapy and post-treatment of acute bronchial asthma with Ma su granule and evaluate its clinical efficacy and security.Methods:Use a randomized controlled trial to study. Divide the 70 patients into two groups. The treatment group has 35 cases which were given the Ma su granule. The control group has 33 cases, which were given the Seretide. Then observe the changes of clinical symptoms, signs, lung function and EOS count between pre-therapy and post-treatmentResults:1. In the treatment group the control display ratio was 94.29%, the total efficiency ratio was 93.94% reminding that there was significant clinical effect.2. In the treatment group the throats of wheezing water chicken sound, cough, expectoration, chest distress, gloomy complexion, sensation of chilland the lung wheezing sound had significant improvements. The throats of wheezing water chicken sound and the lung wheezing sound were better than the control group (P<0.05). And the others were no significant differences between the two group in the other symptoms and signs(P>0.05). The onset time of relieving asthma in the treatment group was better than the control group significantly. The time of disappearing asthma in the treatment group was not different from the treatment group.3. The FEV1/FVC, FEV1 were both significantly increased between the pre-therapy and post-treatment in the two group (P<0.05). But there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).4. The peripheral blood EOS count were significantly decreased in the two groups with significant differences (P<0.05). And the level of treatment group was better than the control group with significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:1. Using Ma su granule to treat the acute bronchial asthma was effective and security, and it can effectively control the symptoms and signs.2. Ma su granule can improve the pulmonary function of the acute bronchial asthma patients effectively.3. Ma su granule can obviously reduce the EOS level of the acute bronchial asthma patients.
