Objective: To explore the levels of serum c Tn I and CK-MB levels in patients with Sepsis and study the possible correlations of c Tn I and CK-MB levels with cardiac function. Methods: The 40 patients with sepsis(sepsis group), 40 patients with general infection(general infection group), 20 People with healthy subjects(control group) were collected at the ICU department of the first affiliated hospital of SHI HE ZI university were chosen for the study. The c Tn I 、CK-MB and CRP levels were detected with automatic biochemical analyzer. The parameters of left atrial diameter(LAD) 、 left ventricle end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)、left ventricle ejection fraction(LVEF)、fraction shortening(FS) were detected with echocardiography and record the APACHE Ⅱ score. Results: Compared with the control group, the levels of cTnI、CK-MB、CRP 、APACHEⅡ score 、LAD and LVEDD in general infection group were significantly increased, the LVEF、FS were significantly decreased.and compared with the general infection group, the levels of c Tn I、CK-MB、CRP 、APACHEⅡ score 、LAD and LVEDD in sepsis group were significantly increased, the LVEF、FS were significantly decreased. Correlation analysis revealed a strong correlation between c Tn I and CK-MB(r=0.419 P=0.007).The levels of c Tn I and CK-MB were positively correlated with LAD、LVEDD(All P<0.01),and were negatively correlated with LVEF and FS(All P<0.05).Conclusion: The levels of serum c Tn I and CK-MB were all increased, which are closely associated with LAD、LVEDD、LVEF and FS.Measuring serum c Tn I and CK-MB level may be helpful with for judging the severity of sepsis.
