Prior to treatment and 6 months later the following parameters were evaluated: masticatory efficiency, bleeding index(BI), probing depth(PD), attachment loss(AL) and tooth mobility(TM).Results: 6 months later, the PD and the AL of the teeth reduced, and the masticatory efficiency of the teeth improved. Conclusion: For combined periodontal-endodontic lesions, periodontal therapy and root canal therapy followed by fixed periodontal splint was an effective therapy method.
