Objective:Clinical efficacy of topical and oral traditional Chinese medicine combined with sodium hyaluronate treatment of moderate to severe osteoarthritis of the knee, in order to find an integrative medicine in clinical, non-surgical method to treat moderate to severe osteoarthritis of the method.Methods:In The First District of Orthopedics and Traumatology of our hospital, according to the severity of knee osteoarthritis index kquesne developed (ISOA) score table score, select one of the severe patients, after the inclusion criteria, exclusion criteria, screening, Select.60 cases.of knee osteoarthritis patients as the observation object, using randomized single blind method will be divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group.Dialectical therapy group given Duhuojisheng decoction, topical and pain Xiaoyu scattered and intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate injection; control group was given oral diacerein capsules, topical piroxicam patch and intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate injection fluid. The two groups were treated continuously for 21 days, during which these patients were using the same functional exercise and health education. Record before and after the treatment:WOMAC knee joint function assessment, VAS visual analogue scale overall pain score, and calculate the two groups of patients after treatment with efficiency. All data will be pooled for statistical analysis.Results:3 cases of Treatment group were clinical cure,8 cases were markedly effective,15 cases were effective,4 cases were invalid,the total efficiency was 86.67%; control group cured 3 cases, markedly effective in 7 cases,14 cases were effective,6 cases were invalid, the total efficiency was 80%, Compared within this two groups, the effective rates had no statistical significance(P> 0.05) Two groups of patients with knee VAS score, WOMAC score, after treatment than before treatment were significantly improved (P< 0.05),and the treatment group than in the control group improved significantly, the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05).Conclusions:1. Method of treatment of two groups were effective for moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis patients,Topical and oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine combined with sodium hyaluronate in the treatment of moderate to severe osteoarthritis and the use of Western medicine, the curative effect is equal; 2 Two kinds of treatment methods have exact curative effect in the improvement of moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis clinical symptoms, reducing joint pain, improving joint function, and And the effect of treatment group was superior to the control group.
