| Objective To observe the clinical therapeutic efficacy and safety between cure group(Five Retentions Powder group) and control group(doxycycline hydrochloride capsule group) on acne vulgaris. In short,we hope to explore a kind of economic,safe and suitable treatment for acne vulgaris.Methods All of the 56 Patients of acne vulgaris were selected from the expert outpatient service of acne of NO.1 Hospital of Wuhan. They were consistented with the diagnostic criteria of acne vulgaris.The 56 Patients were randomly divided into two groups:cure group(28 cases) and control group(28 cases). The difference of sex,age,classification and course of disease between the two groups is not statistical(P>0.05).The two groups used the same local treatment:0.1% Adapalene gel(trade name: Differin), Qn; the cure group were dosed with five retentions powder, a pair of Chinese medicine twice daily; the control group were added to doxycycline twice a day. The course of treatment was 8 weeks. We had compared the curative effect index of skin lesions, the incidence of side effects, the improvement of companying syndrome and the relapse after treatment after 2, 4, 6, 8 weeks, made the curative effect evaluation and safety evaluation.Results Curative effect of two groups respectively is: in the treatment group, the treatment group Recovery rate was 50.00%, markedly effective rate was 87.04%, total effective rate 98.15%; in the control group, the treatment group Recovery rate was 26.42%, markedly effective rate was 64.15%, total effective rate 83.02%. Compared with control group, the total effective rate, clinical symptoms and statistical analysis of treatment group have significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Five Retentions Powder has significantly efficacy in improving the symptoms of acne. it has small side effects, high safety, low recurrence rate, can better improve symptoms of patients,worthy of clinical promotion。... |
