Clinical Observation On Acupuncture And Moxibustion Combined With Dong Qi Points In Treatment Of Senile Urinary Incontinence

Objective: using acupuncture and moxibustion combined with Dong’s extraordinary acupoints in the treatment of senile urinary incontinence in this study, urinary incontinence questionnaire short form Chinese Version(ICIQ-SF-Chinese), the quality of life of patients with urinary incontinence questionnaire(I-QOL) score and urodynamic examination were observed, objectively evaluate the efficacy in treatment of elderly patients with urinary incontinence.Methods: 72 cases of elderly patients with urinary incontinence were randomly divided into acupuncture group and the acupuncture and moxibustion combined with Dong’s extraordinary point group, each group of 36 cases. Warming acupuncture group, acupuncture Baihui, Sishencong, Zhongji, Guan Yuan, Ciliao, rank edge, the two groups before and after the turn, and in close yuan, extremely or Ciliao Zhibian, with warm acupuncture. Acupuncture and moxibustion combined with acupoint group with Dong Dong’s extraordinary points in acupuncture and moxibustion three points. A needle 6, 4 weeks for a course of treatment, continuous treatment of three courses. The two groups were combined with pelvic floor muscle training(PFMT). In the first, after the two or three course of treatment ICIQ-SF-Chinese, I-QOL score and urodynamic observation of bladder filling volume, initial sense of bladder filling volume and bladder residual volume changes, the difference between the two groups.Results:(1) clinical efficacy: wen acupuncture group cure rate 33.3%, total effective rate 77.8%, acupuncture and wang wen acupuncture point group cure rate 50%, total effective rate 86.1%, comparing the two groups have significant difference(P < 0.01, P < 0.05); Urine dynamics test(2) : two groups at the beginning of the bladder filling volume, maximum filling volume, residue before and after comparison was were extremely significant differences(P < 0.01), comparing the two groups at the beginning of the bladder filling volume, maximum filling volume, residues have significant difference(P < 0.05, P < 0.01), Mr Wen acupuncture and wang qi acupuncture point group is superior to the acupuncture group;(3) ICIQ- SF- Chinese, and I- QOL scores: two groups of comparison before and after the treatment are extremely significant difference(P < 0.01), the comparison between the two groups have significant difference(P < 0.05), with wang wen acupuncture group is better than that of warm acupuncture group, acupuncture point.Conclusion: Acupuncture and wang qi wen acupuncture point group can significantly improve the clinical curative effect of senile patients with urinary incontinence, in improving the urine dynamics and ICIQ- SF- Chinese, and I- QOL score better than wen acupuncture group.
