Clinical Experience Of Professor Xu Hefen In Improve The Quality Of Life In Patients With Malignant Tumor

Professor XU Hefen, graduated from department of medicine of Jiangsu Medicine College, and then studied in TCM class of Nanjing Traditional Chinese Medicine College, is one of the fifth batch famous and old experts in TCM who granted special allowance from government. Professor XU has spent more than 60 years at the clinical and scientific researches to combined treatments from TCM and Western Medicine of malignancies, and found some critical ways of treatments in the long term of clinical experience such as reinforcing Qi, nourishing Yin, anticancer and detoxification, which have conspicuous advantages in treatment. This dissertation focused on researches of professor XU’s experiences in treatment to malignancies, especially academic ideas and effects on improvements of life quality and related fatigues.This dissertation focused on introductions and analysis of malignancies patients’life quality, clinical application, means as well as fatigue resulted from tumors and its definition, from which some conclusions on academic ideas of professor XU can be made as reinforcing Qi and essence, anticancer and diminishing it, tonigying Qi and nourishing Yin, reinforcing immunity system, protecting spleen and stomach, enriching liver and kidneys, treatments from TCM and Western Medicine and supplement from each other, suit the remedy of the case, psychological counseling and keeping peaceful of inner mind.This dissertation focused on neatening of first appeared patients, selecting some patients with articulate diagnosis and period of taking pill more than two months, recording changes of life qualities and fatigue indexed of selected patients, and making comparison of data above. The conclusion of analysis above is that professor XU has emphasized on improvement of life quality, tonigying Qi and nourishing Yin, reinforcing essence and diminishing cancer, combining TCM and Western Medicine, treatment distinguished according to stages, suit the remedy of the case, which means professor XU has positive curative effects in treatment by TCM to tumor patients especially at improvement of patient’s life quality and remission of fatigue.
