| Objectives:To explore the clinical efficacy and the pharmacological mechanism of prescription according to Jianpi Yishen Tongluo and Xiezhuo therapy in treatment of stage-IV diabetic nephropathy, in order to provide a new approach for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.Methods:By using randomized, open, and positive medicines parallel contrasted clinical research method,44 cases of stage-IV diabetic nephropathy were divided into treatment group and control group with 22 cases. Control group was given diabetes education, diet control, and symptomatic therapy, and treatment group was given, additionally. Jianpi Yishen Tongluo and Xiezhuo prescriptions intake:in modified decoction for prescriptions; consume 1 dose daily in the morning and evening; do not exceed 2 doses per day,8 weeks as a course of treatment. The main clinical symptoms and signs, and the laboratory examination indexes around treatment were investigated.Results:1. On the comprehensive clinical efficacy:Overall response rate of treatment group was 90.9%, significantly higher than that of control group (68.2%) (P<0.05); 2. On the improvement of TCM symptoms:Overall response rate of treatment group was 59.4%, statistically higher than that of control group(39.9%) (P＜0.05); 3. On laboratory examination indexes; indexes of 24 hours urinary protein quantitative, serum creatinine, glomerular filtration rate,blood glucose, blood lipids were obviously improved, the efficiency was better than that of control group (P<0.05).Conclusions:Jianpi Yishen Tongluo and Xiezhuo prescriptions could effectively improve the clinical symptoms and signs of stage-IV diabetic nephropathy, reduce the level of urinary protein quantitative, and improve the indexes of serum creatinine, glomerular filtration rate,blood glucose, and blood lipids. Additionally, it also contributes to delaying the development of diabetic nephropathy, the deterioration of renal function and improving the quality of life. |
