Immunohistochemistry was used to investigate the expression of GPC3 and CD44v6 in 38 HCC tissues.2. Results were analyzed through using SPSS for Windows 17.0 software analysis system. Chi-square test or Fisher’s exact test were employed for data processing,Spearman rank correlation was adopted for correlation analysis. P <0.05 was considered to have a significant difference.Results:GPC3 is mainly located in hepatocellular carcinoma tumor cell membrane and cytoplasm, with rare nucleus occasional expression; there was a significant difference(X2=3.924; P=0.02; X2=6.575; P =0.000; X2=6.862; P =0.000) between well-differentiated hepatocellular carcinoma group, differentiated group, poorly differentiated group and control group(cirrhosis group),; no difference between every two groups(X2=2.922; P=0.232). CD44v6 immunohistochemical staining substances were mainly localized in the cytoplasm of cancer cells and part of the tissue interstitium being diffused or scattered; when comparing well-differentiated HCC group, differentiated group, poorly differentiated group with the control group, there aresignificant differences in liver cirrhosis group(X2=4.486, P=0.001; X2=6.926, P=0.000;X2=6.194, P=0.000); no difference between every two groups(X2=3.571; P=0.168). At the 0.01 level(bilateral) GPC3 expression was significantly correlated with CD44v6 in hepatocellular carcinoma. Conclusions: The expression of GPC3 and CD44v6 in hepatocellular carcinoma was high, which has a significant correlation at the level of 0.01(bilateral). | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Hepatocellular, carcinoma(HCC), GPC3, CD44v6, Wnt Immunohistochemical method | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
