The Research Of Community Health Services In JinZhou New Area

Community health service is a critical part of healthcare and the basis for common primary healthcare goals. Accelerated development of community health service is beneficial to serve the diversified healthcare need and provide preventive care to community, family and individuals. It will help adjust the structure, function and strategy of city healthcare service, help build a new healthcare system that consists of community health centers as basis, hospitals as medical center, educational and preventive care branches as preventive healthcare center, which suits socialist market economy system. It will also provide efficient and affordable health service and relieve the high-cost and slow turnaround issues.Purpose of the study:Issue identification and root cause analysis by examining community healthcare service development of Jinzhou district in the past few years.Provide recommendat ions to help improve current practice and policy making, assisting continuous development if Jinzhou community healthcare service.Methods:survey and interview, with572Jinzhou community residents,60community healthcare workers and30community healthcare managers. Data and information were processed by Excel and analyzed.Results:the community healthcare network in Jinzhou district has been built and covers entire community with robust healthcare system, basic public health service has achieved very good results. However, there are issues and gaps from meeting the desired six-in-one function: the quality of personnel can not meet the demand for community health service; inconvenient bi-directional transfer service; low generic drug inventory. Root causes:absence of government support; the lagging construction of community health service personnel; disconnect in patients’first visit and referral transfer; the national basic drug system can not effectively promote.Recommendations:improve management system and operations; ensure stable long-term financial investment; set up effective performance evaluation system; build interactive bi-directional transfer network; strengthen talent acquisition and development; optimize corresponding generic drug administration policies.
