Based On Clinical Studies Of Academic Thoughts Of Waike Zhenquan

Purpose:To investigate the academic thoughts of Waike Zhenquan and its clinical significance for dermatology, especially for the diagnosis and treatment of viral skin diseases.Methods:Take the method of literature research to generalize the discussions of dermatitis in Waike Zhenquan.①List all the prescriptions of the book, establish a database to analyze their formulations, four properties, numbers and medication characteristics.②Summarize the academic thoughts and academic characteristics by the medication characteristics.③Investigate the instruction value of Waike Zhenquan combined with the clinical experiences of my tutor and other famous Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors.Results:①Waike Zhenquan contains352prescriptions, where224oral side, and128external side. The vast majority of oral prescriptions are decoction, powders and pills, while the external are powders, oils and ointments. It contains342kinds of drugs, including153kinds of cold medicine,125kinds of warm medicine,58kinds of flat medicine, and6drugs are unknown. The cold are used757times, the warm are used1062times, and the flat are used432times. There are34kinds of toxic drugs,44kinds of animal drugs,20kinds of channel ushering drugs and12kinds of medicinal usher. The prescriptions composed by4-8drugs account for40.63%.②Waike Zhenquan not only attaches importance to the Quansheng thoughts, but also pays attention to the Zhengzong and Xinde thoughts. It is the first book to list principles of TCM surgical diseases. This book emphasizes the role of meridians and pulse diagnosis. There are lots of medical knowledge, diagnostic methods and skills, medication experiences and external treatments. It attaches great importance to the role of diet for rehabilitation, and reflects the thoughts of preventive treatment of disease.③Nowadays, TCM dermatologists should reference the academic thoughts of Waike Zhenquan, pay more attention to the Quansheng thoughts, including toxic drugs, animal drugs, channel ushering drugs and warming methods, avoid operation casually and corrosion drug abuse. They also need to combine the diagnosis of disease and syndrome differentiation, have a clear understanding of the relationship between meridians and skin diseases, learn the Chinese materia medica pharmacology research results and other doctors’clinical experiences, develop the external treatments of skin diseases, put a high value on the importance of diet for rehabilitation and flexible use the ideas of preventive treatment of disease in dermatology clinical practice.Conelusions:Waike Zhenquan is one of the Quansheng Sect book. It has a distinct academic thoughts and characteristics. Waike Zhenquan can provide methodology references for TCM dermatologists, especially for the diagnosis and treatment of viral skin diseases.
