Objective: Atrial fibrillation (Atrial Fibrillation, AF) is a very common clinicalarrhythmia. Through clinical research, this study investigated the clinical value ofqianyangfengsuidan addition and subtraction on treating AF,and explore new ideas fortreating AF with TCM according to actua clinical effects. Methods: This study is a clinical research and used experimental methods of randomcomparison.The60patients with heart yin and kidney yang deficiency meeting theinclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups depending on age andgender. Each group had30cases,and all of them were carried out clinical intervention studyfor a period of eight weeks based on treating underlying diseases. The control group wastreated shensongyangxin capsules while the experimental group was treatedTCM(qianyangfengsuidan addition and subtraction).After8weeks,obseved the changes ofTCM symptom,24-hour ambulatory electrocardiogram (DCG),12-lead ECG (ECG) andquality of life, and established databases with all experimental results. Numerical data wereshowed with X±S,and used t test. Classified informations used X2test.All of the data usedSPSS statistical software for statistical analysis, and the test level was a=0.05(bilateral).Results: The significant efficiency of the experimental group was30.00%, and thetotal efficiency was86.67%. In the control group, the significant efficiency was23.33%,and the total efficiency73.37%. There was no significant difference (P>0.05).Incomparison of the efficacy of atrial fibrillation classification, for paroxysmal atrialfibrillation, the significant efficiency of the experimental group was31.58%, and the totalefficiency was89.47%. The significant efficiency of the control group was41.18%,and thetotal efficiency was94.12%. There was no significant difference in efficacy between them(P>0.05).For persistent atrial fibrillation, the significant efficiency of the experimentalgroup was27.27%,and the total efficiency was81.82%,while in the control group, the significant efficiency was0.00%,and the total efficiency of46.15%. Upon examination, there was a significant difference (P <0.05) between two groups. In the experimental group, there were significant differences(P<0.01)between before and after treatment in symptomscore of palpitations, fatigue, chest tightness, sweating, and yaoxisuanruan. In the controlgroup, there were significant differences(P<0.01) between before and after treatment insymptom score of palpitations, fatigue, chest tightness, sweating. However, there was nosignificant difference (P>0.05) in yaoxisuanruan. Conclusion: The above descriptions illustrate the good effect of qianyangfengsuidanaddition and subtraction, especially in the improvement of symptoms of persistent AF.Thismay provide new ideas for the treatment of AF.
