Objective: Explore the relationship between the Yin deficiency constitution and thehypertension disease by conducting the investigation in the area of Yin deficiencyconstitution with primary hypertension clinical epidemiological, aimed at preventing theoccurrence and development of hypertension by adjusting the constitution.Methords: With the patients with essential hypertension as the research object, thequestionnaire survey was conducted among450cases of patients with high blood pressure,which investigates patients with Chinese medicine constitution classification, to screen thepatients with Yin deficiency constitution for further research. Finally, analyze the date byusing SPSS17.0software.Results: It is concluded that Yin deficiency constitution is the one which can resultin hypertension rather easily-Unique regularity can be found among Yin deficiencyconstitution.Conclusions: The result of the clinical epidemiological investigation further confirmsthat the Yin deficiency constitution is a common constitution of essential hypertension, aswell as high blood pressure. Yin deficiency constitution plays a crucial role in thepathogenesis of essential hypertension. Constitution determines the propertytransformation of the type of syndrome. Constitution is adjustable. Early intervention ofYin deficiency constitution to eliminate susceptible factors is an effective way to preventthe hypertension and improve the situation of high blood pressure.
