| Objective:In this research,we aim to study the relationship of Cys C with the severity ofcoronary artery stenosis in patients underwent CAG, the correlation between Cys Cand FFR in the patients with moderate coronary artery stenosis involved.Through theresults,we hope to promote understanding of the role of Cys C in cardiovasculardiseases, and provide new evidence for the treatment of percutaneouscoronary intervention. Methods:A retrospective analysis was carried out using178cases underwent CAG fromMarch2011to January2015,in the Department of Cardiology of our hospital.Theyare divided into four groups according to the results of CAG:control group(40cases),patients with10%-50%coronary stenosis(40cases),patients with50%-70%coronarystenosis underwent FFR(58cases)and patients with coronary stenosis more than80%underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (40cases).Collecting the followingclinical data during the period ofhospitalization:gender,age,FPG,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C,TG,TB,ALT,AST,BUN,uricacid,Cr,Cys C,CK-MB,CK,LVEF.Whether there is a history of diabetesmellitus, hypertension, myocardial infarction, peripheral vascular disease, cerebralvascular disease, atrial fibrillation, somking, drinking and PCI is recorded. The differences of the clinical data between the four groups and the correlationbetween FFR and Cys C in the third group were analyzed by statistical methods.Results:1.There is significant difference of Cys C between the groups, the values of thesecond group were higher than that of the others, the third group were higher than thefourth.2.In the third group, the Cys C levels were positively correlated with FFR, thehigher the concentration of Cys C,the greater the FFR results.3.When the latter threegroups were treated as one group, the values of the new one were higher than the control group’s.Cystatin C levels were lower in normal individuals compared withpatients with atherosclerosis.4.The levels of cystatin C also didn’t differ in groups ofpatients with one-vessel,two-vessel, and three-vessel disease.5.When determiningthe presence of CAD, the highest value of total sensitivity and specificity was set at acut-off value of0.805mg/L with57.0%sensitivity and73.3%specificity. The areaunder the ROC curve was calculated as0.662,P=0.001.Conclusion:1.The levels of plasma Cys C were higher in patients with10%-50%coronarystenosis than those of the control group, the moderate and critical coronary stenosisgroups. The values of the moderate coronary stenosis group were higher than those ofthe critical coronary stenosis group.2.In the moderate coronary stenosis group, the CysC levels were positively correlated with FFR, the higher the concentration of Cys Cwas, the better the coronary functioned.3. Cystatin C levels were lower in normalindividuals compared with patients with atherosclerosis.4.The Cys C levels werenot correlated with the extent of coronary artery disease.5.When the Cys C level islower, the existence of myocardial ischemia may be the greater. Cys C can be used asan auxiliary examination index in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease. |
