Investigated the status quo of CDC informatization talents, the comprehensive evaluation and comparison analysis of the survey data have been carried out for the analysis of problems and deficiencies of CDC health information work; for the further health information work countermeasures and suggestions; and for the satisfaction of the information need for the CDC staff. Meanwhile, the scientific decision-making could be provided to the CDC administration.Method: According to the literature review, online EDDC survey system and expert interviews,303questionnaires and18experts interviews have been chosen from leaders and workers at all levels of the CDC public health information system from13cities in the province. Result:1. The composition of the staff academic. The composition of personnel qualifications of Municipal CDC and the relevant agency:the percentage of postgraduate qualifications is20.51%; undergraduate qualifications is69.23%; tertiary and below qualifications is10.26%. County-level institute has the most account of tertiary qualifications which is49.22%, district-level institute is the next which is42.65%2. Basic on the personal major of information workers, the computer or communications engineering majors has low rate, Municipal percentage is7.69%, district-level percentage is2.94%, and county percentage is7.03%. The main majors are medical specialties such as medicine, public health, and biomedicine and so on.3. According to the age structure of the staff engaged in the information technology, the main part is40-49years, the average age is46.53%, especially at the county level CDC staff in this age have high proportion of50.78%. The proportion of municipal CDC staff aged more than50is38.46%. The proportions of municipal CDC, district-level, and county-level staff aged more than40are74.36%、61.03%and65.62%, the average rate for the province is64.68%, as a result, workers in information technology are relatively older.4. For the Job satisfaction, county-level CDC is better than municipal CDC, leaders are better than staff, High-grade employees are better than low-grade employees, high level of education staff is better than low level of education staff.Conclusion:It is regional uneven of talents Construction of public health information technology development, municipal CDC is better than county-level CDC in personal education, age structure, personal major, The cognitive level of health informatization planning, The existing work and training satisfaction and The selection and stability of talents. The CDC information talents do not satisfy of current job, there is a serious lack of the talents who understand the computer information technology as well as the public health. Talent training mechanism is not perfect, university degree in education and continuing education resources is shortage, the talents development channel is lack.
