Purpose:To summar ize the feature of MRS on VCIND patients (spleen and kidney deficiency, phlegm blind or ifices) by analyze the metabolism in brain.Method:There are 72 pat ients in this issue, 36 cases in each group. VCIND(spleen and kidney deficiency, phlegm blind or ifices) patients were assigned in control group. Patients with normal cognit ive function were assigned in treatment group. All outpat ients and inpat ients were from the a ffiliated hospital of Changchun UCM. Two groups of pat ients underwent MRS by using simens symphony 1.5TMR Imager. Select the bilateral temporal lobe hippocampus, bilateral middle frontal gyrus subcor tical white matter, bilateral semi -oval center as a Region of interest.Analysis the metabolic character istics of NAA, Cho, Cr, NAA/Cr, Cho/Cr .Result :Compared bilateral brain metabolite levels wi th normal cognit ive funct ion (spleen and kidney deficiency, phlegm blind or ifices)patients, VCIND pat ients’ NAA,NAA/Cr decreased on bi lateral middle frontal gyrus subcor tical white matter and bi lateral semi -oval center(P<0.05). There was decreased obviously on left middle frontal gyrus subcor tical whi te mat ter and left semi -oval center(P<0.01). VCIND patients’ Cho、Cho/Cr increased on bilateral middle frontal gyrus subcor tical white mat ter and bilateral semi -oval center(P<0.05). There was increased obviously on left middle frontal gyrus subcort ical white matter and left semi -oval center(P<0.01). NAACho、NAA/Cr、Cho/Cr was no statistical differrnce on bilateral temporal lobe hippocampus. Conclusion:VCIND(spleen and kidney deficiency, phlegm blind ori fices) patients’ brain cells were extensive damage in bi lateral middle frontal gyrus subcortical white matter and bilateral semi -oval center, especially left middle frontal gyrus subcortical white matter and left semi -oval center. These changes lead to decreased ability to perform.Detected by magnetic resonance spectroscopy can provide reliable scienti ficbasis for the diagnosis and di fferential VCIND. Combining the TCM syndrome characteristicsand metabolomics can provides an objective basis for TCM and TCM treatment , increase the accuracy of early detection and intervention.
