Objective Using 20MHz B ultrasound combined with ultrasound biomicroscopy to complete statement of choroidal and retinal detachment, and improve the detection rate of retinal detachment detachment of choroidMethods In this observational case series,38eyes of 38 Primary rhegmatogenous retinal detachment patients were included. The 38 cases (38 eyes),23 were male and 15 female patients, in all 38 patients (38 eyes), checked in patients age range of 22-71 years old. The patients were divided into three groups:A(15eyes) Patients showed obvious signs of retinal detachment and choroidal detachment routine examination in the Department of Ophthalmology; B(12eyes) Patients has not be seen obviously choroidal detachmen by Department of Ophthalmology routine inspection t, but with the following signs of (1) Patients with intraocular pressure lower than the contralateral eyes above 5mmHg. (2) Patients with anterior chamber than the contralateral eye was deepened. (3) Eyes of patients present iris crystal tremor or iris concentric folds; C(11 eyes) Patients has not be seen obviously choroidal detachment by conventional Department of Ophthalmology routine inspection, also does not have a B group of signs. The patients underwent 10MHz B ultrasound, 20MHz B ultrasound, ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) examinations respectively. All images were recorded and assessed, by 1 well-trained clinician. Analysis of variance(ANOVA) was adopted to comparing the difference between A and B and C.Results Patients in group A were 10MHz B type ultrasound,20MHz B ultrasound, ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) examination showed choroidal detachment; Detection of B group of 10MHz B mode ultrasound in 1 cases (1 eyes) with choroidal detachment; detection of 20MHz B mode ultrasound in 4 cases (4 eyes) with choroidal detachment; ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) were detected in 6 cases (6 eyes) with choroidal detachment; C group of 10MHz B ultrasonic not detected choroidal detachment; ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) were detected in 1cases (1 eyes). Conclusions 20MHz B ultrasound combined with ultrasound biomicroscopy complete evaluation of the choroidal and retinal detachment ultrasonographic characteristics, improve the detection rate of retinal detachment and choroidal detachmen. |
