Clinical And Experiment Study On Acute Respiratory Tract Infection Treated With Reduqing Oral Liquid

ObjectiveObserving the clinical effects of Reduqing Oral Liquid to cure Acute upper respiratory tract infection,provides an effective treatment for clinical patients. Trough animal experiments, the clinical manifestation and the levels of cytokines of SD old rats with pneumonia induced by Klebsiella pneumonia and their changes after intervention were investigated,which explored the mechanism of Reduqing Oral Liquid and laid the foundation for treatment on senile pneumonia.Methods1. clinical research:100 cases of Acute upper respiratory tract infection patients were randomly divided into two groups, in which the treatment group(50 cases) was given Reduqing Oral Liquid, and the control group(50 cases) was given Bufferin Cold.Temperature changes and clinical curative effects of the patients in the two groups were compared.2. animal experiment :75 SD old male rats were randomly divided into 5 groups: the control group, model group, chinese medicine group,western medicine group, combine chinese medicine and western medicine group(15 rats each group).The rat model of Klebsiella pnenmonia was established by injection of Klebsiella pnenmonia into the trachea. Chinese medicinal group was treated with Reduqing Oral Liquid,western medicine group was treated with cefuroxime axetil, combine chinese medicine and western medicine group was treated with Reduqing Oral Liquid and cefuroxime axetil.After 7 days,dynamic observations the rats of behavior, body temperature,the histopathological changes of the lung tissues and the changes of chest X-ray. the counts of WBC and N in peripheral blood were detected.Concentrations of the CRP, TNF-a,IL-1β,IL-10 were determined in the serum by ELISA.Meanwhile,the CRP、TNF-a、IL-1β, IL-10 levels were detected in the lung tissue by Western-Blot.Results1.clinical research: After treatment,the body temperature was significantly decreased in the two groups,and the treatment group has a lower decreasing rate(P<0.05). The total eficiency rate of the treatment group is 89.80%. The total eficiency rate of the control group is 79.17%.2. animal experiment : The lung pathological changes in the model group were more serious than other groups.Compared with the control gorup, the counts of WBC and N in peripheral blood of the model group were increased significantly(P<0.01),concentrations such as CRP,TNF-a,IL-1 β,IL-10 in serum were markedly increased.Compared with the model group, the counts of WBC and N in peripheral blood of treatment groups were decreased(P<0.05 or P<0.01), concentrations such as CRP, TNF-a,IL-1 β in serum of treatment groups were markedly reduced, IL-10 was increased significantly(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Compared with the control group, the rats of model group had obvious lung injury, the expressions lever of CRP,TNF-a,IL-1 β,IL-10 in lung tissue of model group significantly increase(P<0.05 or P<0.01);Compared with the model group, treatment groups had less injury, the expression lever of CRP,TNF-a,IL-1β in lung tissue of treatment groups were markedly decreased, IL-10 was increased significantly(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Among all the groups, the combine chinese medicine and western medicine group has the greatest improvement.ConclusionReduqing Oral Liquid is effective for Acute upper respiratory tract infection in lowering the body temperature, relieving clinical symptoms. It can also ease the damage of lung tissues, improve the condition and has definite effect to cure the old rat with the klebsiella pneumoniae. Reduqing Oral Liquid is an effective and safe drug of treating acute respiratory tract infection, and the mechanism might be related to allaying a fever, relieving a cough, anti inflammatory, immune regulation etc.
