The Effect Of Facial Neuritis Patients-Neurophysiological With Xiaoxuming Decoction

Objective:Facial paralysis is a common disease of the nervous system, and its longer duration, higher rate of residual paralysis, the prognosis is poor, severely affecting the quality of life of patients, damage to physical and mental health of the patient, this is the problem of modern medicine, the treatment of the Western use of hormones or exogenous neurotrophic factor or surgical treatment, poor efficacy. rich resources of Chinese medicine, Chinese herbal medicine is rich, it is of great significance to explore the protective effect of herbal medicine and development on peripheral nerve lesions.Methods:Screening 30 cases of neuritis patients compliant surface from out and in our hospital, into two groups by random, chinese medicine group and control group, two groups of patients taking methylcobalamin tablets,500μg, tid, as a basis for treatment, chinese medicine group plus taking xiaoxuming decoction, bid, for treatment, recipe follows:Ephedra 9g, Cassia twig 6g, Angelica 15g Codonopsis 20g, gypsum 30g, Chuanxiong 9g, almonds,9g, ginger 8g, licorice 8g, fangfeng6g, fangzi6g, fuzi3g, the traditional chinese medicine in the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine real generation fried,1000ml leftover boiled concentrated approximately 200ml. all the cases are classification with House-Brackmann, Local clinical symptom score, Testing Blink reflex and temporal and buccal branch of the facial nerve on latency and amplitude one time in all cases before the study and intervention for 14 days, establish it with the data of twice, and analyze it with the software of SPSS17.0.Results:1, chinese medicine group and the control group before the treatment in the House-Brackmann grading, local clinical symptom score, temporal and buccal branch of the facial nerve on latency and amplitude, the ipsilateral blink reflex of R1, R2, R2’, are compared, through statistical tests (P> 0.05), the difference was not statistically significant.2, Chinese medicine group after treatment, House-Brackmann grading, Local clinical symptom score, temporal and buccal branch of the facial nerve on latency and amplitude, the ipsilateral blink reflex of R1, R2, R2’ are compared, through statistical tests (P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant.3, After the treatment the control group, the House-Brackmann grading, Local clinical symptom score, temporal and buccal branch of the facial nerve on latency and amplitude, the ipsilateral blink reflex of R1, R2, R2’are compared, through statistical tests, (P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant.4, After the treatment, chinese medicine group and the control group are compared in House-Brackmann grading, Local clinical symptom score, temporal and buccal branch of the facial nerve on latency and amplitude, the ipsilateral blink reflex of R1, R2, R2’, through statistical tests, (P> 0.05), the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion:1, xiao xuming decoction combined with Mecobalamin in treatment of facial neuritis, can affact the House-Brackmann grade, local clinical symptom score were decreased.2, xiao xuming decoction combined with Mecobalamin in treatment of facial neuritis, can affact patients suffering from facial nerve temporal, buccal branch latencies decreased, the amplitude increased, blink reflex of R1, R2, R2’wave latency reduction.3, Xiaoxuming decoction combined with Mecobalamin in treating facial neuritis and Mecobalamin alone in the treatment of facial neuritis, the same curative effect.
