| Objective:To compare the clincal effect and oncologic outcomes of T1b RCC underwent Nephron sparing surgery (NSS) with radical nephrectomy(RN).Methods:30 patients with T1bN0M0 RCC between January 2005 and October 2009 were retrospectively performed, and compared the oncologic and functional outcomes between NSS(n=30) and RN(n=60).Result: All surgeries were successfully taken. Median time of cold ischemia was 24min(15—32 min);median blood loss was 60ml(40-110ml);the rate of postoperative complication was 20%,no transfusion needed. The postoperative change in estimated glomerular filtration rate 1 year after nephrectomy was higher in the RN group than in the PN group(25.0±10.6mL/(min*1.73m2) vs 15.3±9.7mL/(min*1.73m2),P<0.01).There were no diffience in 5-years OS(90% VS 86.7%),CSS(96.7% VS 93.3%),and FDM(93.3% VS 88.3%) of the NSS and RN groups. Conclusions:NSS is a safe and effective treatment for patients with T1b RCC. |
