Many shortcomings of the three main parts have emerged through practice although they have brought great effectiveness in calming down medical disputes. It is urgently to bring in the third-party mediation, a new effective way of dealing with medical disputes since the obvious disadvantages of those traditional ways such as consultation and administrative mediation and civil proceedings.To propose the perfection countermeasures of a third-party mediation for medical dispute by analyzing the differences of awareness to medical dispute of a third-party mediation between doctors and patients. Random sampling of some medical staff and patients is for the questionnaires which will be analyzed by descriptive analysis and Chi-squared test etc.39.7% of respondents understood the third-party mediation for medical dispute; 58.7% of respondents believed that the third-party medical only can be solved a small part of dispute; 35.2% of respondents payed most attention to the neutrality of the third-party mediation; 48.7% of the medical staff hoped to be able to save money,47.4% of patients wanted to be able to reduce the information asymmetry;45.2% of respondents perceivied the significance of medical liability insurance.To Promote the meehanism for third-Party mediation of medieal malPaetie: strengthening the publicity; strengthening the Legislation and supervision; cultivating the mediators’capabilities of solving the medical dispute; establishing the mandatory insurance system of medical liability.
