To provide a new research ideas for the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes, the accumulation of clinical experience.Objective: To explore the " reinforcing and reducing, adjust the balance " method guiding prescription of Huang Di ji Xian decoction on the effect of reduce and stop the hypoglycemic drugs for patients with type 2 diabetes, Look forward to reduce hypoglycemic drugs and traditional Chinese medicine to alternative hypoglycemic drugs for clinical treatment of type 2 diabetes to find a new method.Methods: To conform to the diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes, and into, ruled out a standard selection of 60 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes, adopt the method of random parallel control study divided into treatment group and control group, 30 cases in each group. Treatment group on the basis of continue to use the original oral hypoglycemic drugs and give Huang Di Ji Xian decoction, each 200 ml, 3 times a day, the control group maintenance therapy in treatment of primary oral medicine, two groups were given the patients health education, diet and exercise the same instructions during the treatment; at least a week monitoring twice fasting plasma glucose, 2 hour postprandial blood glucose, The second week according to blood glucose control in patients with hypoglycemic drug withdrawal instruction, treatment for 12 weeks. Two groups were observed before and after treatment of hypoglycemic drug usage, fasting plasma glucose(FPG), 2 hour postprandial plasma glucose(2h PG), Glycosylated hemoglobin A1c(Hb A1C%), body weight, body mass index, Clinical symptom score change, Evaluation of liver and kidney can and other safety indicator. use SPSS17.0 statistical software for statistical processing of data.Results:(1) Effect on body weight, body mass index : After 12 weeks of treatment, two groups of patients’ weight and body mass index were significantly decreased(P< 0.01), compared two groups have no statistical difference(P > 0.05).(2) The Influence on clinical symptom score: After 12 weeks of treatment, In the two groups was compared, there was statistical differences(P<0.01); there was a significant difference between groups(P<0.01), the two groups after treatment symptom scores decreased significantly.(3) The effects on blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin: After 12 weeks of treatment, the two groups before and after treatment compared to FPG, 2h PG, Hb A1c% had decreased significantly(P<0.01), compared to the two groups had significant difference(P<0.01).(4) The effect on stopping and reduction hypoglycemic drugs of patients:1. patients with the use of hypoglycemic drugs species number: After 12 weeks of treatment, two groups of patients with hypoglycemic drug types had significant difference(P<0.01).Results: After treatment, the treatment group used hypoglycemic drugs significantly reduced the number of species than the control group.2. To reduce and stop hypoglycemic drugs for patients: After treatment, compared two groups of withdrawal of hypoglycemic drugs, by chi square test, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05), Results: Two groups of patients were able to make the withdrawal of hypoglycemic drugs, the treatment group was obviously more than the control group.(5)Patients with withdrawal of hypoglycemic drugs and blood glucose control comparison:after treatment, according to withdrawal of hypoglycemic drugs, the patients was divided into "stop", "reduction", " constant ", "change" 4 classes.1. Blood glucose control in patients with "stop" comparison: after treatment, "stop" in the treatment group before and after treatment in patients group compared to 2h PG, Hb A1c% were decreased, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05), FPG had no significant difference(P>0.05), In the control group "stop" in the patient group compared each had no difference(P>0.05); between the two groups compared, there were no difference(P>0.05).2. Blood glucose control in patients with "reduction" comparison: after treatment, "Reduction" in the treatment group patients before and after treatment comparison of FPG, Hb A1 c % have significant differences(P<0.01), there are differences between the 2h PG(P<0.05). The control group in the "reduction" patients with 2h PG have difference(P<0.05); FPG, Hb A1c% were no difference(P>0.05); There are differences in FPG, Hb A1c% between the two groups had significant difference(P<0.05), 2h PG no statistical difference(P>0.05).3. Blood glucose control in patients with "constant" comparison: after treatment, The treatment group in the " constant ",the patients with Hb A1c% have difference(P<0.05), there was no significant difference in FPG, 2h PG(P>0.05).The control group in the " constant" the patients with Hb A1c% had significant difference(P<0.01), there was no significant difference in FPG, 2h PG(P>0.05);Comparison between the two groups 2h PG had difference(P <0.05), the FPG, Hb A1 c % no statistical difference(P > 0.05).4. Blood glucose control in patients with "change" comparison: After treatment, The treatment group in the "change", the patients with FPG, 2h PG had significant difference(P<0.05), there was significant difference in Hb A1c%(P<0.01).In the control group all had significant difference(P<0.01). The comparison between two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05). Conclusion:(1)With the application of reinforcing and reducing, adjust the balance method in the treatment of diabetes.Huang Di Ji Xian decoction combined with oral hypoglycemic drugs oral can significantly reduce the blood glucose and Glycosylated hemoglobin A1 c in the course of 3 years in patients with type 2 diabetes, reduce the body weight, body mass index, improve the clinical symptoms.(2) Huang Di Ji Xian decoction combined diabetes treatment the course of 3 years in patients with type 2 diabetes, and can make the patients to control blood glucose effectively reducing the type and dosage of hypoglycemic drugs, explain Huang Di Ji Xian decoction has effects of reducing blood sugar " reinforcing and reducing, adjust the balance" method for the treatment of diabetes. There may be through the regulation of glucose metabolism and improving the internal environment, so as to achieve the purpose of improving islet function.(3) Huang Di Ji Xian decoction combined with hypoglycemic drugs for some patients cannot withdraw the hypoglycemic drugs, but still can control blood glucose better and improve the clinical symptoms, the traditional Chinese medicine has the potential to improve the body sensitivity to hypoglycemic drugs. Due to the small sample size, study cycle is short, withdrawal of hypoglycemic drugs and dosage is not yet clear, needs to be large sample and long-term clinical study in the future.After Chinese medicine overall adjustment, Blood sugar was reduced slowly and persistent.
