Our country has invested enormous financial and material resources in this disease prevention and manipulate, although it has made some progress, but there are still many vacancy which need to perfect. So to seek a better prevention and treatment methods of this disease is our each respiratory medical personnel unshirkable responsibility. At present, western medicine treatment the disease mainly through blocking-up the disease developmence to alleviate symptoms, but due to the pathogenesis of the disease is not clear-cut, western medicine still has many unavoidable problems for the treatment of this disease, such as can not effectively reverse the disease, economic burden of the patients is heavy, difficult to avoid side effects and so on.The disease can be attributable to the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) lung distension category, TCM knowledge of the disease can be traced back to the age of Canon of internal medicine, so the treatment of this disease has a long history and the curative effect affirmation. Notable is, this disease is due to chronic lung disease caused by long-term existence, although the disease belongs to the pulmonary system disease, finally, the disease will infringe the spleen, kidney, heart and so on, So simple treatment for lung can not achieve the purpose of cure disease, the most important is according to the clinical manifestations of patients to determine treamtment perscription, so with the dialectical therapy and holistic concept prove that the advantage of TCM in the treatment of this disease.This study is based on the basic treatment of Western medicine and combined with internal and external treatment of TCM, through the improvement of clinical symptoms and change of patients with scores of life, in order to provide a point of TCM can be used for prevention and treatment of COPD in stable stage.MethodsWe will divided the collected patients with COPD in stable stage into treatment group and control group by using randomized controlled experimental scheme. The two groups separately using the basic treatment of Western medicine or combined with TCM internal and external treatment, then we will observed before and after treatment in patients such as symptoms, signs and so on. In order to provide the basis of TCM internal and external treatment to cure the disease.Results1.After a course of treatment, the relevant data after statistical analysis confirmed that the two groups after treatment in terms of symptoms, signs score were improved, suggesting that the two scheme of treatment results are effective. But the treatment group was significantly better than the therapeutic effect in five aspects of cough, expectoration, shortness of breath, wheezing and anorexia, suggesting that TCM internal and external treatment in treating this disease can not only better for symptom, also can more effectively improve patient appetite than western medicine. The patients in this two groups after treatment of wheeze, tongue score showed no statistical significance (P> 0.05), suggesting that little difference in efficacy between the two groups after treatment. Two groups of clinical effective rate were 96.7% and 83.3%, the treatment group higher than the control group.2. CAT score before and after treatment in the patients of two groups were decreased, the results suggest that using this two kind of therapy for this disease can improve COPD patient’s life quality, and the statistical analysis found that after treatment, the treatment group declined more large than the control group in patients with CAT scores, these results suggest that the treatment group has obvious advantages in improving the quality of life than the control group.3. In BODE index total score, two groups of patients after treatment than before are reduced, the results suggest that the bad effect of disease on patients quality of life reduced, and the statistical analysis that the treatment group reduced the degree higher than the control group. Specific to the four indexes, the treatment group after treatment in the three indexes of 6WMD, BMI, MMRC improved significantly, and the treatment group have obvious advantages than the control group. The control group after treatment only in MMRC score improvement than before, suggesting that at present use pure Western medicine treatment only just can polish up symptoms, in improving patients physique and the quality of life have inadequate, while TCM with internal and external treatment has made corresponding supplementary work. In terms of FEV1, two groups before and after treatment had no statistical significance, prompt both treatments are not effective reverse the progression of the disease.ConelusionThe clinical research data show that combined with TCM combined internal and external treatment based on the treament of western medicine can significantly inprove the COPD patients clinical symptoms signs and CAT, BODE scores. Compared with only given western medicine treatment, the former has obvious curative effect in improve the life quality of the patients. External treatment of traditional Chinese medicine has the advantages of simple operation, high degree of patients accepted and no adverse reaction, So it is worth to promote in clinical.
