The Role Of BFGF,Gelatin Spongein The Treatment Of Traumatic Tympanic Membrane Perforation

Objective This research through the intervention in the treatment of traumatic tympanicmembrane perforation, observe the gelatin sponge,recombinant bovine basic fibroblastgrowth factor (bFGF) in the treatment of traumatic tympanic membrane perforation,andcompared with the natural healing,further test whether the two can promote healing oftraumatic tympanic membrane perforation,shorten the healing time.Methods Choice of unilateral tympanic membrane perforation caused by the traumapatients,randomly divided into three groups,each group of20people.For the naturalhealing group1,group2for gelatin sponge+saline group,group3for gelatin sponge+bFGF (i.e., the recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor) group. After the doctor,told three groups of patients with oral anti-inflammatory drugs to prevent infection. For2,3groups,first by iodine volts clean ear weeks and external auditory canal,and respectivelyin a slightly larger than the perforation of gelatin sponge.2groups of patients afterplacement of gelatin sponge,1ml saline drip into the attached with a syringe in perforationof gelatin sponge,make it wet.3groups of patients after placement of gelatin sponge,1mlbFGF with a syringe,drip method with gelatin sponge,make it wet.Instruct patients ontreatment,observation hole time needed for healing and healed completely.Results1Gelatin Sponge+Saline group, Gelatin Sponge+bFGF group and Naturalhealing:on healing time,the experimental group perforation completely than the controlgroup obviously shorten the healing time (P<0.01),significantly statistical differences. Thatgelatin sponge+saline group, the gelatin sponge+bFGF group supplemented in thetreatment of traumatic tympanic membrane perforation can obviously promote healing andshorten the healing time.2Gelatin sponge+saline group and gelatin sponge+bFGF group:There is no difference in healing time the two groups (P>0.05).3Gelatin Sponge+Salinegroup, Gelatin Sponge+bFGF group and Natural healing, three groups of20cases in eachgroup subjects perforation healed completely, Healing rate was100%.Conclusions1The gelatin sponge+saline can obviously promote the healing oftraumatic tympanic membrane perforation, can accelerate the perforation healing time.2The gelatin sponge+bFGF can promote healing of traumatic tympanic membraneperforation, shorten the healing time of traumatic tympanic membrane perforation. 3Gelatin sponge+saline with gelatin sponge+bFGF in treatment of traumatic tympanicmembrane perforation, both can promote healing of perforation perforation healing timewas shortened, and the two groups had no significant differences in shortening theperforation healing time. Three groups of no difference in terms of healing rate.
