The Clinical Research On Using Crude Herb Moxybustion To Treat Allergic Rhinitis Of Lung Qi Deficiency And Cold Pattern

Objective:To observe the efficacy of different herbs from crude herb moxybustion combined with acupoints to treat allergic rhinitis of lung qi deficiency and cold pattern, thus selecting the best combination of prescription herbs and acupuncture points. Methods:80cases met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into four treatment groups:crude herb moxybustion group1and Group2selected crude herb moxybustion creams made from fresh White Mustard Seed,crude herb moxybustion group3and Group4selected crude herb moxybustion creams made from fried White Mustard Seed; crude herb moxybustion group1and Group3chose bilateral acupoints Feng men、Fei shu、Gao huang shu、crude herb moxybustion group2and Group4chose bilateral acupoints Da zhu、Ge shu、Shen shu.After a course of treatment (3times), observed the symptoms、signs score and the eosinophil cell count in nasal secretions of the four groups’patients before and after treatment. Results:The symptoms、signs score and nasal secretions eosinophil count of four groups after treatment was lower than before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).By pairwise comparison, the combination of Feng men, Fei shu, Gao huang shu can significantly reduce the symptoms, signs score and eosinophil cell count in nasal secretions, the results were statistically significant (P<0.05); The difference of crude herb moxybustion creams made from fresh and fried White Mustard Seed, was not statistically significant after comparison (P>0.05).Conclusions:In this study, therapy of each group can reduce the symptoms, signs score and eosinophil count in nasal secretions,Especially the effect of Feng men, Fei shu combined Gao huang shu was significantly higher than other groups,Suggesting that a combination of acupuncture points to improve the symptoms, signs from allergic rhinitis of lung qi deficiency and cold pattern was better than other groups.
