Objective:T To investigate cognition and its influence factors on the national ess ential Medicines among of Medical Professionals in Primary Hospitals of Xinjiang, for my area to further promote the use of national essential Medicines and prov ide necessary basis for the formulation of the essential Medicine action plan in lin e with the actual situation of our district. Methods:August2011to August2012c onducted national essential drug system cognition questionnaire for1842Medical P rofessionals in Primary Hospitals of Xinjiang using stratified sampling method for a national essential Medicine cognition questionnaire survey, a total of2000questionn aires. Data were analyzed using EpiData3.1double entrand check the data, the data f or ratio by using the software SPSS17.0,χ2test, Logistic regression analysis. Resu Its:(1) the awareness rate of the concept of essential Medicine was72.1%among the Medical Professionals in Primary Hospitals, but the analysis found that most of the medical Professionals also need further understanding of national essential medi cines.(2) the main source of the awareness of the essential Medicine was TV/r adio, business training, newspapers and periodicals.(3) In all medical Professionals were investigated,719medical staff (39.03%) belongs to the high Cognition. Mu ltivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that, nationality, education, occupation, job title, age, working years and departments are statistically associated with cogn ition level.(4)82.8%%Medical Professionals in Primary Hospitals prescribe essent ial medicine in the first choice (5)76.8%Medical Professionals in Primary Hospita ls hoped that carries on the training of essential drugs.(6) The79%doctor recom mend the essential drugs frequently to the patient (7)47.9%of doctors in Primary Hospitals think, basic drugs is applicable in the local common and multiple diseas e.(8)52.3%medical personnel thought the use of essential drugs to promote ration al drug use in the very great degree. Conclusion:The concept of essential medicin es in the have to some extent been popular, but the understanding of national esse ntial drugs is still low. Number of Medical Professionals in Primary Hospitals to a ccept the national essential drug knowledge training less, time is short. Medical Pr ofessionals in Primary Hospitals to patients propaganda of national essential drugs i s not enough, nurses and pharmacists in drug promotion countries lack basic comm unication with doctors. Recommendations:to further improve the implementation o f national essential medicine policy measures, increase the national essential medic ine propaganda, training and education, to renew the clinical medication knowledge base of medical personnel, standard treatment guidelines and good formulary, impr ove the drug circulation system, make reasonable compensation policy of medical i nstitutions, promote the use of rational drug use and essential Medicine. |
