Objective:To investigate the prevalence of hyperuricemia and its relationship with chronic kidney disease(CKD) in Urumqi Adult. Methods:A total of10025subjects who were older than20years were received healthy examination in Health Center from January2009to April2010and982essential inpatients were enrolled from March2011to February2012in department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University in the retrospective study.Among them,740Hans and242Uygur.Results:(1) the prevalence of huperuricemia was14.85%in check-up crowd,the prevalence of huperuricemia was25.46%in department,the prevalence of huperuricemia in Hans was26.62%,in Uygur was21.91%,they were significantly higher than in those with normal blood uric acid;(2) In people with hyperuricemia,the prevalence of CKD was11.63%,the prevalence of Proteinuria was6.66%, the prevalence of GFR decline was5.21%.They were significantly higher than in those with normal blood uric acid. There were no significant difference in the prevalence of hematuria in both;(3) There were no significant differences in EH with proteinuria,reduced eGFR and CKD between Uygur and Hans;(4)Logistic regression analysis showed:HUA, gender, systolic blood pressure>140mmHg, hyperuricemia were the important risk factors for CKD. Conclusion:The prevalence of hyperuricemia was14.85%inUrumqi check-up crowd,he prevalence of25.46%in department;Hans were significantly higher than Uygur.It can reduce the occurrence and development of CKD to Strengthen screening of the high-risk group, control of blood uric acid, glucose, blood pressure positively.
