Objective:Non-fermenting bacteria is not aerobic Gram-negative bacteria ferment sugars are widely distributed in the water, the soil, the hospital environment and the skin surface of the human body, are opportunistic pathogens and are common pathogens in hospitalized patients, particularly with severe immune deficiency and ICU (intensive care unit, ICU) in critically ill patients. Pseudomonas aeruginosa (pseudomonas aeruginosa PA) and Acinetobacter baumannii (Acinetobacter baumannii, AB) is a common non-fermenting bacteria is a common clinical pathogens. To investigate the effect about of herbal Tanreqing-injection for the treatment of lung infection caused by the common non-fermenting bacteria in the intensive care unit(ICU), so as to provide a theoretical basis.for the clinical treatment of lung infection caused by non-fermenting bacteria Method:A total of131cases whose sputum culture suggestive of Acinetobacter baumannii and Pseudomonas aeruginosa from Jan2012to Mar2013in Our hospital ICU,Among10patients colonized patients,121patients with pulmonary infection, in line with two common non-fermentative bacteria with lung infection the121patients collected and randomly divided into control group (69cases) and observation group (52cases).The control group was treated by conventional therapy alone (antibiotic application according to pathogenic microorganisms culture and sensitivity results), while the observation group was treated with conventional therapy plus Tanreqing injection.By comparing the two groups of patients with general information, APACHE Ⅱ score difference, SOFA score difference, ICU days within28days of hospitalization days, antibiotic use, the number of days of mechanical ventilation and two groups of28days. 90days case fatality rate, etc. Results:By comparing the two groups, the general information in both groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05);The difference of observation group of APACHE Ⅱ score,SOFA score was significantly higher than control group, that is observation group APACHE Ⅱ score, SOFA score decreased more significantly than the control group;and the observation group ICU length of stay, number of days within28days of antibiotic use, days of mechanical ventilation were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05); However, there were no significant difference in28days,90days mortality between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusions:Tanreqing-injection and antibiotics haveasynergistic antibacterial effect. Tanreqing-injection has certain effect in the treatment of pneumonia.
