Clinic Study Of Shi Pi Shen Shi Fang In Treating Functional Diarrhea With The Damp Abundance Due To Spleen Asthenia Syndrome

Objective The aim of this research is to assess the mechanism and efficacy of ShiPiShenShiFang in the treatment of Fd with The damp abundance due to spleen asthenia syndrome.Methods In clinical research, sixty patients were devided into two groups.Thirty patients were received ShiPiShenShiFang as the study group, and the other thirty patients were received Live combined with bifidobacterium, lactobacillus and enterococcus as the control group. The changes of clinic symptom were analyzed after four weeks’ treatment.Results Clinical research showed that the treatment group was better than control group(p <0.05). After one course of treatment, significant difference was apparent in the clinical effects:In the treatment group, fourteen cases recovered and ten cases significantly improved, two cases improved. So the treatment group’s total effective rate is86.67%. In the control group, eight cases recovered and nine cases significantly improved, four cases improved. So the control group’s total effective rate is70.00%. In the improvement of TCM symptoms total score, the treatment group was better than control group(p<0.05).Conclusion ShiPiShenShiFang was an effective prescription of Chinese medicine in treating Functional Diarrhea. The mechanism of this therapy may be relation to the adjustment of gastrointestinal motility and so on.
