Price Management Reform Of Acupuncture Medical Services Research Based On Knowledge Value

Research background:In recent years, with the development of modern science and techno logy, the traditional Chinese medicine health care is increasingly being ignored especially the acupuncture medical services. Many Chinese medical services are not able to carry out in clinical practice.Since the price of medical services are not able to reflect the value of the knowledge of the medical staff, resulting in the clinical applications of acupuncture and Chinese medicine health care services are far less than western medical services’clinical applications.This situation severely hampered the development of the pharmaceutical industry in Jiangsu province.It is not conducive to their development of Chinese medical institutions, and also seriously affected the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine hospitals in Jiangsu province.In2012,the national development and reform commission, the ministry of health and state administration of traditional Chinese medicine in "on normative medical service price management and related issues notice"(NDRC price [2012]no.1170,here in after referred to as the "national standard") pointed out:"the standard management of medical service prices is the implementation of the deepening medical and health system reform important content,and it is to promote the reform of medical service prices,specifications,price behavior of medical institutions, maintaining the lawful rights and interests of patients with important measures, to perfect the compensation mechanism of medical institutions,medical expenses burden is of great significance to relieve patients.’Research Content:In this paper, we put acupuncture medical services as the study subject,cause it can best embody the characteristics of the traditional Chinese medicine health care; we make price management as research object.This stduy stand on the angle of the knowledge value of the acupuncture medical services, and we make questionnaire to the traditional Chinese medicine hospitals and medical workers of Jiangsu Province. We also do personnel in-depth interviews to the management of hospitals and acupuncture departments. After we obtained the questionnaire data, we put the informations to Excel2007, and through the questionnaire data analysis, combined with the current mechanism of acupuncture prices for medical services, draw conclusions and make recommendations.Conclusions and Recommendations:Jiangsu acupuncture medical services’ income proportion is low; acupuncture medical services’price is low and short of services items.Recommendation:raise the price of acupuncture medical services, increase the proportion of the value of knowledge; increase reflects the knowledge value of acupuncture medical services; implementation of differential fees acupuncture medical services projects; established Chinese medical service costs for monitoring and dynamic adjustment system; increase in government investment, improve the medical institution compensation mechanism; encourage medical staff innovation and enhance Chinese medical technology and services.
