Object:1、To observe the effects of washing solution with sodium bicarbonate on the amount of the free hemoglobin in salvage blood;2、 To observe the effects of washing solution with sodium bicarbonate on the PH and electrolytes.Methods:Select20cases underwent elective surgery patients whose estimated blood loss is greater than600ml, the collecting blood from operative field was divided into two parts, the normal group which the blood was washed by Ringer solution and the alkalified group was washed by Ringer solution with sodium bicarbonate. Detect the standardized free hemoglobin (fHb), the cell morphology and osmotic fragility of the red blood cell, the concentration of blood Na+, K+, Cl-, Ca and the PH value of the blood after washing. Meanwhile testing the concentration of the blood FHB, Na+, K+, Cl-, Ca2+and the PH value before and after infusion.Results:1, there is significant difference of autologous blood free hemoglobin between two groups(p<0.05), while the cytology morphology and osmotic fragility of red blood cell has no significant difference(p>0.05); and without significant difference of the FHB after autotransfusion between two groups2, There is significant difference of autologous blood PH value between two groups (p<0.05), but the difference of the PH value after autotransfusion between the groups have no statistical significance;3,There is significant difference of the concentration of the Cl-、K+、Ca2+in the autologous blood after washing(p<0.05), but with the corrected by PH value, there is no significant difference in the concentration of the K+(p>0.05),and there is no significant difference in the blood concentration of the Na+(p>0.05) and the difference of the concentration of the electrolytes after autotransfusion between the groups have no statistical significance.Conclusions:1, Add sodium bicarbonate to washing solution can decrease the concentration of plasma free hemoglobin without adverse influence on the red blood cell. But there is no effect on the concentration of the FHB after autotransfusion;2, Washing solution adding sodium bicarbonate can increase the PH value of the autologous blood after washing with no influence on the blood PH after autotransfusion.3, Alkalifying washing solution with sodium bicarbonate can lower the concentration of Cl--、K+、Ca2+the in the autologous blood after washing, but has no obvious effect on Na+, and have no obvious effect on the blood electrolytes concentration after autotransfusion.
