| Purpose:Researching on the different expressions of vascular growth factor and matrix structural proteins in cerebral vascular malformations, it may provide the understanding of the cerebral vascular malformations biological behavior and the basis for the research on the new treatment method. Method:Select all nationalities cerebral arteries in patients with cerebral vascular malformations (BAVM, CM) and the similar normal people in all50cases, detect the different expressions of vascular growth factor (VEGF, TGF-a) and matrix structural proteins(C-IV, a-SMA, FN, LN) in the cerebral vascular malformations specimens and the normal superficial temporal artery specimens by immunohistochemical staining method. Result:In the normal temporal artery, VEGF and TGF-a almost don’t express; C-Ⅳ and a-SMA express strongly and regularly; LN express well while FN negative. In the vascular malformations, VEGF and TGF-a are highly expressed; C-Ⅳ and a-SMA express weaker and more disorder while accompanied by disordered collagen deposition; FN is rich and LN is lack. Conclusion:Cerebral vascular malformations compared to normal blood vessels, there are obvious expression differences in vascular growth factor and matrix structural proteins (P<0.001). The formation, growth and rupture of cerebral vascular malformations may be associated with abnormal structure of vascular growth factor and matrix structural proteins. |
