Background and Objective Hemangiomas and vascularmalformations are frequent and benign vascular disease.they are different in clinic feature, development, prognosis.Their pathogeneses are not clear and traditional concept, diagnoses, clinic typing for hemangioma were not definited and not precise, so their treatment are difficult. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is one of the best examining method for soft tissue diseases because MRI have high soft tissue resolving power;Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) is atraumatic and a new examining method in hemangioma and vascular malformations. Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) have very strong biological effect and is a peculiar endotheliocyte mitogen. This study aim to investigate hemangioma and vascular malformations characteristics in MRI and MRA and corelations with pathology and expression of VEGF.Materials and methods 1 Materials 87 cases of hemangioma andvascular malformations which were verified by pathology were devided into two groups:hemangiomas 41 cases and vascular malformations 46 cases...
