Correlation And Clinical Significance Between Survivin, PTEN Protein Expression And In The Uygur,Han Patients With Gastric Cancer | | Posted on:2014-10-08 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:E H T S Y M Pa | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2284330434461128 | Subject:Oncology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objects:To explore the correlation of Survivin and PTEN protein in gastric carcinoma; To investigate the relationship between the parameters of stage Survivin and PTEN protein and dimension, and its expresstion differenc between Han and Uygur ethinc; to investigate the expression of Survivin/PTEN protein and it’s relationship with the prognosis of gastric cancer, try to find effective molecular markers for the prognosis of gastric cancer. Methods:In2010January-2011December we selected Uyger and Han ethinc50case each from confirmed gastric cancer at Tumor Hospital Affiliated to Xinjiang Medical University, and use20normal tissue within the50each as for control group. Using immunohistochemical method to detect the expression of Survivin and PTEN protein in gastric carcinoma and normal gastric tissues, the patients were followed up for one year after the surgery. And statistical software SPSS17.0methods were used to analysis data. Results:In gastric carcinoma tissue Surivin protein were highly expressed(P<0.05), and PTEN protein were lower expression than normal (P<0.05). Uygur and Han ethinc were no diffener in term of experssion of Survivin and PTEN protein(P>0.05). The positive rate of Survivin and PTEN protein in gastric cancer histological type, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis and non metastasis closely, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); high expression of Survivin suggests poor prognosis of surviving (P<0.05); loss of PTEN expression suggests poor prognosis (P<0.05). In the1year recurrence rate and the age of patients, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), and others such as the degree of differentiation, histological type, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis are not the factor (P>0.05). Conclusions:(1) There is a close relationship between high expression of gastric cancer occurrence, development, invasion and other process of survivin;(2) Low expression of PTEN are in close contact gastric carcinoma, development, and invasion;(3) The postive expression of Survivin and megative expression of PTEN may play a synergetic reol in promote the occurence and development of gastric cancer;(4) The results of this study suggest that, survivin and PTEN can be used as a biological marker in evaluating prognosis of stomach.(5) In addition to the expression of Survivin and PTEN anomaly can be used to judge the prognosis of gastric cancer patients, the age of the patients are also a influence factor of1years recurrence rate. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Gastric cancer, Survivin, PTEN, Immunohistochemical | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
