ObjectivesTo analyze the Social and Emotional Outcomes for parents with a post-operativechild with Congenital Heart Disease(CHD) and its influencing factors.MethodsSep2012-December2013,Convenient to choose the330cases parents ofpostoperative children with CHD in the third affiliated hospital of zhengzhouuniversity. The questionnaire of general information,Hospital anxiety depressionscale,Caregivers positive experience scale,Family intimacy and adaptabilityscale,Social support scale were used to investigate the parents of postoperativechildren with CHD. As a control,in the same period,convenient to choose the330cases parents of children in Child health clinic. Strictly according to the sampleintegration and elimination standard and voluntary principle to selected investigationobjects. Using SPSS17.0statistical description,Single factor analysis,correlationanalysis and multiple linear regression analysis.Results1.By surveying335parents of CHD postoperative children who conform to theinclusion criteria,recycling effective questionnaires330copies,effective collect ratewas98.51.2. Parental anxiety score (9.74±3.41)、 depression scores(7.09±2.46)in postoperative children with CHD,relatively,they were higher than parents’ anxietyscore(7.61±3.21),depression scores(5.23±2.18)in the child care clinics. Thedifference is statistically significant(P<0.05).3. The positive experience of parents of postoperative children with CHD is inthe medium to low level(22.66±5.64),the self-affirmation dimension(16.30±6.96)is higher than life outlook dimension score(6.35±3.13).4. The parents’ social support of postoperative children with CHD areaveraged(30.35±8.19),which is lower than the national norm(34.56±3.73),Thedifference is statistically significant.5. The actual intimacy,ideal intimacy,Intimacy which is not satisfaction andadaptability which is not satisfaction of parents of postoperative children with CHDare higher than domestic norm,while actual adaptability,ideal adaptability are lowerthan the domestic norm.6. Putting the variables which is statistically significant by single factor analysisand is relevant to anxiety score of parents of postoperative children with CHD asindependent variables,and anxiety scores as the dependent variable,then proceedingmultiple linear regression analysis. Results show that there are the times of surgery ofchildren with CHD,positive experience with self-affirmation dimension,social supportutilization degree,flexibility,adaptability which is not actual satisfaction six variablesinto the regression equation,the anxiety level variation degree of parents ofpostoperative children with CHD is53.5,and the positive experience withself-affirmation dimension,social support utilization degree,the actual adaptability isnegative influence factors of parents anxiety in postoperative children with CHD.7. Putting the variables which is statistically significant by single factor analysisand is relevant to depression scores of parents of postoperative children with CHD asindependent variables,and depression scores as the dependent variable,thenproceeding multiple linear regression analysis. Results showed that there are the timesof children operations,the types of diseases,positive experience total score,exploitation degree in children with social support,adaptability which is notsatisfaction five variables into the regression equation,which explain that thedepression level degree of variation of parents of postoperative children with CHD is 41.3,and the total score of positive experience,social support utilization degree isnegative influence factors of parental depression in postoperative children with CHD.Conclusion1.The psychological status of parents of postoperative children with CHD shouldbe concerned,the results shows that the anxiety and depression of parents ofpostoperative children with CHD children is at a higher level,the positive experienceis at a lower middle level.2. The anxiety,s influence factors of parents of postoperative children with CHDinclude the self-affirmation dimension of positive experience, the utilization degree ofsocial support,the actual adaptability,dissatisfaction of adaptability;Other factorsinclude the number of operation of children,and so on.The self-affirmation dimensionof positive experience is a key factor of affecting the parents anxiety,it not only has adirect effect on parents anxiety,but also is the intermediate reaction variables of otherfactors.3. The depression,s influence factors of parents of postoperative children withCHD include the utilization degree of social supports,dissatisfaction of adaptability;Other factors include the number of operation of children,the types of surgery.Thepositive experience total score is a key factor of affecting the parents depression,it notonly has a direct effect on parents depression,but also is the intermediate reactionvariables of other factors.
