Objective: based on the clinical application and research of ShenqitongluoCapsule,the study evaluates and observes such capsule to treat transient ischemicattack (transient ischemic attack, TIA) with clinical efficacy and Security; From thecapsule of TIA patients with serum matrix metalloproteinase-9(matricmetalloproteinase-9, MMP-9), fibrinogen (Fg) effects, it reveal the mechanism ofaction and Provide a more objective basis for clinical application of TIA.Methods: using a randomized, controlled experimental design principles,the studyrecruited80qi deficiency and blood stasis TIA patients who are assigned in twogroup by random number method, treatment group of ShenqitongluoCapsule(treatment group) and control group of the conventional treatment (controlgroup). Both groups were based on conventional treatment which is recommend bythe2010"China cerebrovascular disease prevention and treatment guidelines". Thetreatment group gives oral capsules (5/times,3times a day) based on control groupin the same day and Antihypertensive, hypoglycemic, lipid-lowering for For patientswith a history of hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia and so on.During two weeksin hospital,we observe Clinical symptoms, seizure frequency, duration, ABCD2score,Serum MMP-9,and fibrinogen changes for two groups.During6monthes,wesurvey secondary prevention and Shenqitongluo Capsule’s taking,at the same timewe observe patient’s condition change,calculate the attack number of TIA andemergence of infarction and so on. Statistical data will be collected by spss18.0Results:1. comparing general information such as sex, age, underlying disease,previous history of TIA patients and the frequency of admission of patients with TIAonset, duration, seizure type, ABCD2risk score with Chi-square test or t testbetween two group. Statistical results showed no significant difference (P>0.05)groups of patients.2. during3-day hospitalization period, the group respectively have18and9patients with clinical symptoms of seizures under control.during7days.there are35and26patients.after14days,all patients’ clinical symptoms is under control. Comparison of the two groups’ qi deficiency and blood stasissyndrome scores were significantly different (P <0.05) after treatment.3. Laboratorytest results suggest that the first7days and14days after treatment,MMP-9levelsdrop below the level of the control group.the results was statistically significant (P<0.05). Treatment fibrinogen levels after14days is lower than the control group’slevel, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05)4. Treatment group andcontrol group patients were no serious adverse reactions during the experiment andall feels well.Conclusion:1. combined with conventional treatment, Shenqitongluo Capsule canbe more efficient and rapid to control TIA attack and reduce the incidence ofpost-stroke patients with TIA.also it has a good safety.2. after treatment ofShenqitongluo Capsule,the levels of MMP-9and fibrinogen decreased.this suggestShenqitongluo Capsule can improve the patients’condition according to effectMMP-9and reduce fibrinogen levels.
