Objection: Computerized tomography scan has been developed rapidly in manyyears. This software mostly use in radiation treatment technology. This study using theCone Beam CT as an assisted treatment in dentistry, also using3D image to see throughthe location of dissection and wounds on the patient. Hence, it helps dentist to completethe treatment plan.Materials and methods: The study involves10patients from March to May in2012. Every individual have different oral damage. Using CT scan to measure thedamages and wounds from the patients, then treated with accurate treatment and planning.All patients will be observed for one year.List of equipments: Asahi; AZ3000CT Dental Computerized Tomography Scan SoftwareResults:Cone Beam CT has little scan time needed, and because the format ofCBCT image is square cube, therefore, every dissection detail can be seen very clear. Itgives accurate information on many cases, and makes the whole process easier for thedentist and much comfortable for patients.Conclusion:2D X-ray couldn’t measure the location of the dissection and otherdetails accurately. On the other hand, CT scan has many advantages comparing to2DX-ray.3D image software has become an outstanding features for all dentists, and it’sgoing to be an essential equipment in the future.
