With the development of imaging techniques, the methods aboutcardiac imaging also diversify, quantitative T2-mapping with its fast, efficiency and accuracy gradually come to people’s eyes. Although, variousnon-invasive cardiac imaging modalities can be used to identify viablemyocardium, including dobutamine echocardiography (ECHO), stressECHO with contrast, positron emission tomography (PET), single photonemission computed tomography (SPECT), and cardiac magnetic resonanceimaging (CMR), in which PET is currently accepted as gold standard forthe assessment of myocardial activity, but CMR with noninvasive, noradiation, multifunctional and multi-dimensional imaging characteristicshas becomed more and more attractive. T2-mapping has mainly be used toevaluate cartilage integrity and tumor characterization, prostate imaging, dynamic contrast studies of cerebral perfusion, measurement of iron burdenand also in recent years which gradually be with cardiac imaging, especially acute myocardial infarction. The Application progress ofquantification T2-mapping in cardiac imaging were reviewed.
