Objective:1.Find out the immunization level of preschool migrant children in Kunshan, further analysis influence factors of childhood immunization program in migrant children.2.Evaluate the educational intervention model to increase the rate of immunization of migrant children, in order to explore the immune management method of migrant children.Methods:1.Study on immunization status of preschool migrant children in Kunshan CityDuring January to February2012, four towns were selected randomly from the11towns under the jurisdiction of Kunshan City, in each town30samples were selected randomly, the number of total sample was480,451samples were left after excluding invalid questionnaires. The survey included general condition such as name, gender, date of birth, residence, current address and other information, at the same time, parents guardian also made a detailed investigation, such as the change of residence, age, occupation, cultural degree of parents, year income etc. After inputting the data into EpiData3.1, SPSS18.0was used for statistical analysis.2.Community health education to improve the effect of EPI status among migrant children.During February to May2012, within the scope of the whole town randomly choose one of the floating population gathering area as the study site, do health education intervention in the selected area for4months in various forms of health education, including posters, going into the households face to face communication, leaflets, publicity banners flying, broadcast video. A unified questionnaire for general survey of the floating children’s immunization status of the floating population and as well as the EPI knowledge were asked to fill out. After inputting the data into EpiData3.1, SPSS18.0was used for statistical analysis.Results:l.This survey totally refers to451samples, including245men and206women, accounted for54.32%and45.68%, and the ration is1:0.84. The immunization coverage accounted for395samples,56migrant children five vaccine coverage is not qualified, the five vaccine coverage rate is87.58%. The factors affecting the immunization status of migrant children involve household sources, educational level of parents, parents occupation and family’s income.2.The intervention of five vaccine coverage rate increased7.3%than before. By contrasting five vaccine coverage rate before and after intervention, the difference was statistically significant. Before the intervention, the intervention were randomly selected100floating population, the differences of the awareness before and after intervention were statistically significant (x2=7.037,8.140,7.726,12.374,15.341,9.783,15.457, P <0.05).Conclusion1.The five vaccine coverage rate of migrant children in Kunshan is87.58%, but there is still a big gap of five coverage rate between migrant children and resident children.2.The factors affecting the immunization status of migrant children involve household sources, educational level of parents, parents occupation and family’s income.3.To guarantee the immunization status of migrant children, different departments should make good cooperation, at the same time according to the characteristics of the floating population, make full use of radio, television, mobile publicity vehicles, play videos and other forms to carry out publicity and education, improve the guardian active demand vaccination awareness.
