AIDS Intervention Of Drug Users Status And Synthetical Evaluation Research In Six Demonstration Areas Of Jiangxi Province

Objective：To evaluate the actuality of the AIDS intervention of drug users in sixdemonstration areas of Jiangxi Province.Synthetic evaluate AIDS intervention of drugusers to find the main problems and challenges of the six demonstration areas.Toprovide basis for AIDS intervention of drug users in Jiangxi Province,in order topromote the development of the AIDS intervention of drug users.Methods:By using the theory method and combining with the actual of the AIDSintervention of drug users in Jiangxi Province,developed a questionnaire after thediscussion of experts,investigated the actual of the AIDS intervention of drug users insix demonstration areas of Jiangxi Province.The relative standard deviation,statisticaldescription were used to statistical description. Finally chose the weighted RSRmethod evaluated the actuality of the AIDS intervention of drug users.Results:1.Intervention services.Many intervention services were did in the sixdemonstration areas,the workers and drug users were trained173and457times,carried out a total of outreach service2040times,3590persons were referral,handedout1924720needles and recycled1994141needles,invested1447285yuan in needleexchange,77l2persons were treated in the methadone clinic.2.AIDS prevention knowledge awareness.Through the health education, theAIDS prevention knowledge awareness rate of drug users promoted a lot,there were3questions of the8questions in the survey of6demonstration area,the awareness ratewas more than95%.3.The behavior monitor.The rate of MMT and clean needles exchange were over50%in six demonstration areas,the rate of share needles reached95.19%in Donghu.Some drug users changed a lot in their behavior,but behavior change amplituderemained to be improved. 4.The comprehensive evaluation.By weighted RSR synthetical evaluation, theresults showed that weighted rank and ratio of Donghu,,Xihu,Xiangdong, Anyuan,Zhushan,Leping in order as0.5540，0.4791，0.5711，0.6397，0.6058，0.3884.Points3classes sort found that the AIDS intervention of drug users of Anyuan level forclassy, and five other areas level to medium.Conclusion:1.Intervention services.Drug users were continually intervened by needleexchange, MMT, health education in the6demonstration area,so as to reduce theinfection rate of drug users. Many workers and drug users were trained,outreachservice,needle exchange programs and MMT were carry out actively.A lot of humanand financial resources were invested in these projects, making AIDS intervention toachieve better results.2. AIDS prevention knowledge awareness.Through continually health education,the AIDS prevention knowledge awareness rate among drug users reached a higherlevel, the awareness rate of some questions close to100%in the6demonstrationarea,there were6questions of the8questions in the survey of6demonstrationarea,the awareness rate was more than90%.3.The behavior monitor.The drug users’ behavior changed a lot in the6demonstration areas, so as to reduce HIV infection.The rate of receiving MMT andclean needles exchange in recent one year,and the rate of never sharing needles withothers in last six months were high.4. The comprehensive evaluation. Integrated rank from low to high was Anyuan,Zhushan,Xiangdong,Donghu,Xihu,Leping in order.To promote the AIDS interventionof drug users development,the six demonstration areas should strengthen exchangeand cooperation, learn from each other.
