| ObjectiveInvestigate the expression of CXCR4protein and its role in the occurrence anddevelopmentof middle ear cholesteatoma.MethodsImmunohistochemical technology(PV-9001) was applied to examine the expressionof CXCR4in29cases of cholesteatoma tissues and14cases of normal external earcanal skin.ResultThe positive expression rate of CCXCR protein in the middle ear cholesteatoma washigher than that in normal external ear canal skin (Z=-2.614,P<0.05).ConclusionThe over expression of CXCR4can promote the cholesteatoma epithelialproliferation and inhibiting epithelial cell apoptosis, mediating inflammation, promotebone absorption. CXCR4may play an important role in the formation anddevelopment of middle ear cholesteatoma. |
