| Objective: To investigate the risk factors of urosepsis so as to provide a theoretical basisfor the prevention of urosepsis after percutaneous nephrolithotomy. Methods: From September2011to September2013, the data of386patients treated byPCNL were analyzed retrospectively. Thirty-five patients were found with urosepsis.Single-factor and multi-factor analysis were tested for relevant factors. Results: Single-factor analysis revealed that female(P=0.000), history of diabetes(P=0.003), without preoperative treatment of antibiotics(P=0.036) and diameters ofstone>2cm(P=0.041) are the main factors of urosepsis after PCNL. Furthermore, female and history of diabetes were considered to be the risk factors of urosepsis afterPCNL in multi-factor analysis. Conclusions: Female and history of diabetes are considered to be the independent riskfactors of urosepsis after PCNL. For the high-risk patients, preoperative treatment ofantibiotics can reduce urosepsis. |
