With the continuous development of the city, Country Park gradually appear in people’s field of vision. As of the end of 201 l,the isolated green area of Beijing built a total of 81 country parks, area of 5406.87ha. These are mainly composed of vegetation Country Park lawn, A large area of lawn urban ecological environment has played a big role, this considerations can be quantified. In this paper, the ecological benefits and the ecological value from the Country Park turf were studied. Take the case of a Country Park in Beijing, the area of turf in this course was established and computed. In addition, variation trend of Kentucky blue turf’s leaf area index and the pruning height was tested and analyzed.Studies show that the leaf area index increased with the increasing of pruning height, and the blade width has greater influence on leaf area index. Survey data known by the relevant departments of the total area of the Qingheying Country Park is 57.63 ha. The ecological effect of the Country Park that was computed according to the turf area and the related data of Kentucky blue turf’s ecological effect were that annual CO2 intake was16.75g/d.m2; annual O2 discharge was12.18 g/d.m2; annual heat absorbed for transpiration was10.74MJ/d.m2. Economic benefits estimated by environmental benefit evaluation methods were:0.016 yuan/d.m2 for CO2 intake,0.004 yuan/d.m2 for O2 discharge and 1.45 yuan/d.m2 for heat absorbed, and total ecological magnitude of values were 1.47 yuan/d.m2.In this paper, ecological effects of this Country Park turf were evaluated just from one aspect. So lthe problems between Country Park and environment should be studied from many aspects to have a deep understand on its environmental attribute.
