| Sichuan pepper belonging to a kind of plant of the genus ZanthoxylumRuutaceae is an important economic species. It is planted in a wide area of Sichuan, and its planting area has gradually expanded in recent years. The research of Sichuan pepper breeding has important significance to promote the industrial development of Sichuan pepper. This paper measured Sichuan pepper’s quality, growth habit, fruit habit and so on in the territory of the Sichuan pepper producing areas and discussed its apomixes and breeding standards. Using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to give the index weight of those measurements and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the breeding indicators of Zhenglujiao in Mianning and green pepper Jinyang. The breeding system of Sichuan pepper varieties is initially established. The results may provide theoretical guidance for the breeding of pepper. The main findings are as follows:(1) The maturity of Sichuan pepper and green pepper is respectively at the beginning and the end of August. That is the maturity of green pepper is about 15d-25d later than Sichuan pepper. While the two budding time has little difference and are both in early March.(2) Path analysis showed that the ear length had the greatest direct impact on the dried fruit grain weight (PX6→X6→y= 0.4089). Meanwhile, the length of the leaflets had the greatest direct impact on leaflets weight (PX6→X6→y=0.8403) too, followed by the weight of leaflets followed (PX8→X8→y=0.3849).(3) According to the weight value matrix, the top 5 index was C7 (leaves), C9 (ear), C11 (apomixis), C3 (volatile oil) and C4 (hemp flavor substances), which illustrated the above indicators had a great effect on Sichuan pepper breeding. The weights of moisture and adaptability were smaller and had less impact on the breeding index system of Sichuan pepper varieties.(4) Component measurement results show that among Sichuan pepper, the tribute pepper in Hanyuan(9.74%) had the highest volatile oil content and the lowest was the pepper in Luding(3.02%); The non-volatile ether extract of pepper in Yuexi was the highest (16.88%), the lowest was pepper in Luding (10.20%). But among Green pepper, the cane pepper in Hongya (12.43%) had the highest volatile oil content and the lowest was nine-leaves pepper in Chongqing (5.61%); The cane pepper in Hongya(12.12%) had the highest non-volatile ether extract content and the lowest was cane pepper in Ya’an camp(8.9%).(5) Through the literature review and field survey data, this paper chosen 36 important indicators of Sichuan pepper breeding and constructed initially the index system of Sichuan pepper variety base on these. And the index system of Sichuan pepper varieties breeding was composed of the target layer, criteria layer and index layer. Pepper varieties breeding index system is the target layer (A); The criteria layer(B) is setted for the completion of the target layer including quality indicators, growth habit index, habit indicators, apomixes and breeding standards; Index layer (C):volatile oil, ear, apomixis breeding and other 36 indicators.(6) Using fuzzy comprehensive analysis to evaluate the system, based on the principle of maximum membership degree, the comprehensive evaluation of Zheng lujiao of Mian ning is above average and Green pepper of Jinyang is above good. After using this method on the rest pepper, it indicates that the system can objectively provide a theoretical basis for the Sichuan pepper breeding and has a certain practicality. |
