| Sweet potato is an important food crop in China, which is also a vital industrial raw material, and can be used as a new type of energy crop. Xinjiang is the main cotton planting area in China. In the Southern and Northern of Xinjiang major cotton growing areas, crop planting structure is single and the ability to resist the market risk of agricultural industry is weak. Due to the single cropping patterns, cotton crop rotation is difficult, resulting in decreasing soil fertility, and plant diseases and insect pests increased. And increase the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, deteriorate the farmland ecological environment. Therefore, to explore of sweet potato cultivation technique in Xinjiang cotton growing area, not only make great significance for agricultural industry structure adjustment, but also can promote the stable development of Xinjiang cotton industry.Xinhu farm is an important cotton planting region in northern Xinjiang. Light and heat resources are abundant and irrigated agriculture system and natural condition are also suitable for the cultivation of sweet potato. Its starch content here is high, and is conducive to produce the vermicelli and other products. We study the localization of sweet potato cultivation techniques, explore its cultivation techniques of cotton growing areas, improve water and fertilizer utilization, take advantage of the region’s light and heat resources, promote the development of sweet potato industry in Xinjiang, speed up the adjustment of planting structure, which have important significance. In this study, we study the adaptability of sweet potato "Shang sweet potato 19" and "Xu sweet potato 22" in northern, and carry out planting density and fertilization techniques, test and statistical analysis of crop varieties methods of two sweet potato varieties of cultivation technology research, summary and made sweet potato cultivation practices suitable in Xinhu farm.The results showed that Shang sweet potato 19 growth rate slightly faster compared to Xu sweet potato 22 in the early the growth stage; in the middle growth stage, Xu sweet potato 22 growth rate slightly faster than Shang sweet potato 19; in the late growth stage, two varieties are fertility stabilized. The plant type of two varieties are robust, leaf area index is more appropriate, photosynthetic products of aboveground and underground distribution are more reasonable, the tubers continued growth during the entire growth period. Two varieties are strong resistance fusarium disease(R) antibody, for type I dry potato bacterial wilt reach high resistance, type II sweet blast achieve low resistance. Two varieties possess high yield, good stability, strong resistance, wide adaptability, good comprehensive properties and other characteristics.According to orthogonal test of two varieties, the results show that, about 3800 per 666.7m2 transplanting, nitrogen application 12 kg, applying pure potassium 18 kg, fertilizer after little more than using pre-cast(4: 6), these measures are benefit to achieve high yield of sweet potato cultivation technique. If the soil fertility and climate of Northern Xinjiang cotton area is similar to this test area, which may refer to the cultivation technical of sweet potato to promote the cultivation. |
